Give your topic a relevant title including whether items are FOR SALE or you want TO BUY them
Use the description on the thread to say how long the post is valid until - e.g. "Everything must go by 31.01.2008"
All communication must be done through PM or the contact details listed.
In your post mention, when possible
- Individual items and their price (and if applicable if there is a discount for say buying all the items - e.g. as part of a moving sale)
- Links to product pages (e.g. for furniture) and pictures (don't upload them to VE but use a service like Flickr to do so)
- The condition of the goods (e.g. as new, used once, unused, approx. age)
- If possible also include the dimensions of the product - this can be helpful for people to work out whether they can transport goods in a car or whether they need to hire a van
- Technical specifications (in particular for electronics - an advert which includes full specifications will be more likely to get a quick and positive response than if people have to ask numerous questions about it)
- Contact details - how should purchasers contact you (including an email address or telephone number if you don't want to use the pm function.)
- How long is the post valid until (e.g. to be sold by mid-January)
- Where the goods are to be collected from (e.g. which district)
