Re: How did you find us?
Hi Ewelina, I know a few Expats in Linz, although you're right you are a rare breed! As far as I know though they don't have any formal activities, group or get togethers.
Vienna is like an Ikea sofa - you know you should upgrade, but why bother when it is this comfortable.

Hi! I found out about this site on a forum for classical singers. (nfcs.net)

Hey Jensop!
Well, I am not a singer, I am, however, a moderator and our members have the most diverse occupations, interests and hobbies. You should come to our next Meet and Greet this Thursday - at the Old Oak. Who knows, you might end up finding a kindrer spirit!

I was googling something about mobile phone plans, and somehow happened upon this site. Either that or fb.

Re: How did you find us?
Hi, my name is Michael and I found the forum googling "us expats Vienna".
I am a US citizen by birth with relatives and friends in the States. I haven't been to the States since 1996 and besides speaking English with my kids and reading classic children's books to them, carving pumpkins, making ginger snaps for Christmas and keeping up a few traditions, my life is pretty much Austrian.
I was brought here by some tax issues and I will post them in the right subforum. Please feel free to ask me anything in return, I am happy to help.
