It’s time once again for another edition of the VE Supper Club! Supper Club is an opportunity for members to get together and experience new cuisines and restaurants in Vienna.

So let’s hear your suggestions for the next VE Supper Club venue! Please provide the name, type of cuisine, URL (if available) address and phone number if you can. After we have several suggestions I will post a poll and a date so we can decide what cuisine we will experience.

How about an Uzbek restaurant?
Samarkand - Eschenbachgasse 4, 1010 Wien

Not been but was going to give it a go sometime
Vienna is like an Ikea sofa - you know you should upgrade, but why bother when it is this comfortable.

I've been there. It's ok. But I wouldn't go there again.

Any more suggestions?

I was thinking of adding these places to the list.

- Karwan's Kueche (Middle Eastern)
- Yak un Yeti (Nepalese)
- Tiflis (Georgian)
- Wladmir (Russian)

The Romanian restaurant was good. U can take it from me, I'm Romanian. :) But it was quite strange that we were at that time the only customers...quite strange. Maybe it had just opened.
Otherwise any of the above sugestions sound good and I would very much like to come.

Also one sugestion from me: Die Schöne Perle at Karmelitermarkt.

FYI: Tiflis is now closed - since October 2011.. sad... they had really good food :-(
Schoene Perle is actually quite nice and not over-priced!

Can also recommend Pars (Persian) and at some stage would like to go to the Georgian place in the 2nd.
