Wine tasting anyone?

Post by Sunshine » Tue Feb 24, 2015 7:14 pm

It's been aaaaages since I've been online, having moved away and such things. But, i'm back! And I am wondering if there is anyone on here that would be interested in regular wine tastings.

In addition to a lot of practical experience :D I have actually studied wine, and I miss my wine tasting club.

I was thinking maybe once a month, we pick a theme (e.g. pinot noir, sauvignon blanc, rosé, bubbles, South Africa, etc), all bring a bottle of wine and compare!

I am happy to host at mine, I live fairly central, close to the U2 and can sit max 8 people.

Post here if you like wine, are interested in a tasting club and want to do more than just drink a grüner veltliner from Billa!

Thanks! It's been years since I planned an event, I have no idea how activities are here or that facebook has taken over, but let's see if I can get some peeps together.

I hope so too, because tasting 2 bottles of wine with 2 people is not as much fun as 6 bottles with 6 people

I will scout for more souls at the party next Saturday.

I'm interested... A friend was just saying ... We should find a place and do a wine tasting.

Yeah, back home I had a friend with a wine shop so he hosted it there and we could bring our own wine. Don't have those connections here (yet!), but the table in my humble abode should be fine too, for a start.
usbstick, wendy+, please send me a pm with your email address if you like, and we can get in touch.
