Der Elephant in Raum

Post by Robert Barratt »

Brexit refugee Robert Barratt, scourge of the e-scooter, brand ambassador for Red Bull and general worrier, returns from deep inside his cellar wondering why there is a large mammal sitting in the corner. In his first offering for 2019, he touches on the meaningless of January if you are in the gig economy and the meaningless of various comments made about the future of Britons in Austria after Vexit. And let me just say a BIG hello to all eleven thousand of you! We must get together sometime - perhaps a march around the Ringstrasse, close some streets, snarl up traffic and annoy the FPÖ. But before we do, in this bright and hallowed new year, we have to do something about that elephant. More here:

I am amazed about the 11,000 Brits in Austria, apparently 4,000 plus here in Vienna. Where are the other big huddles of us?
