Local guides

A lot of people also ask about information for visiting Vienna - from a stopover to a vacation.

Local guides

Hi there,
How are you guys doing? My name is Ben, I am a 21 year old student from Hong Kong who is studying in UK (Aberystwyth University Space Physics) at the moment, I am planning a 3 days (28th May to 30th May) trip to Vienna but I don't know the city very well and very sadly I don't speak German. Therefore, I am looking for some locals to show me around the city during my stay, in return I can cover all the travel and dinning expenses. Also, I will host them if they visit Hong Kong or UK in future. Just wonder if you know anyone including yourself would be interested? Many thanks.

Best Regards
Benjamin Cheung

We aren't really locals in terms of being Austrians, although there are a lot of people who have been here for a while.
Vienna is like an Ikea sofa - you know you should upgrade, but why bother when it is this comfortable.

I'm certainly more a naturalised immigrant than an expat.
